What do my dues go towards?
Once we have around 50 responses to the questionnaire above, we will create our pillars of focus to align with the community’s concerns and interests. Then within each pillar we will identify specific projects and create a budget for each project along with the amount allocated from the dues. We will update members on the progress of those projects bi-monthly.
Are my dues tax-deductible?
Yes! We are registered as a non-profit. You will receive information on how to report this on your tax return once you have paid.
Are there payment plans?
Yes! We can offer payment plans. This will be offered at the time of payment. There is also ‘pay-what-you-can’ pricing for people over 70 and/or who have lived in the neighborhood for over 20 years.
Will dues go up at any time?
Raising dues will only come as a result of proven effectiveness of the board and its leadership. Our goal is that you want to pay dues because you feel that we are effectively using them towards the betterment of our neighborhood. If we raise dues, this will be first communicated to the community and will need to be voted on by the board.
