Waste & Recycling Information

  • Garbage Pick Up

    Every week on Monday & Thursday Mornings

    Be sure to put out your garbage bins 12-24 hours prior to the morning of pickup.

    Bins (carts) must be at least five feet away from any obstruction (trees, cars, light poles, etc.)

    Bins (carts) must be removed within 24 hours after pickup to avoid a citation. 

  • Bulky Trash

    Every Monday morning

    Collection includes:

    Household Furniture 

    Household Electronics 

    White Goods/Appliances 

    Clean Yard Trash 

    It does NOT include cardboard boxes, food waste or other household waste. This is considered dumping and subject to a $350 fine.

    All items must be securely tied in bundles, no more than three (3) ft. in length nor weighing more than fifty (50) lbs and placed in front of resident's property the evening prior to the scheduled collection day.

  • Recycling Pick Up

    The 1st and 3rd Monday of each month

    Please note the Department of Solid Waste only closes on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Christmas Day. Please refer to your recycling calendar for make-up dates if your normal collection schedule would fall on one of these dates.
